Pete Gadomski is an open source geospatial software engineer at Development Seed living in Longmont, CO. His focus is on the intersection between commercial and government remote sensing, with a side hobby in building Rust tooling for geospatial.

Previously, Pete was:

• Director of the Aerospace Software Business Unit, Senior Geospatial Software Engineer, and Senior Technical Manager at Element 84
• (briefly) Lidar Algorithm Specialist at NSIDC working on Total Propagated Uncertainty (TPU) (incomplete work at leeward)
• Senior Test Engineer at Ball Aerospace "specializing" in RF systems (I say "specializing" because I came in knowing very little, but learned a lot)
• Research Physical Scientist at the Cold Regions Research and Engineering Laboratory (CRREL) with a focus on applying lidar to snow and ice research
